Please read these terms carefully before using PropertyDheko. By using our platform, you accept all terms below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PropertyDheko, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users — students, property owners, and visitors.
2. Platform Description
PropertyDheko is an online marketplace connecting students and renters with property owners. We are not a real estate broker and do not own or manage any listed properties. We provide a platform for information exchange and communication only.
3. User Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate, current information. Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access.
4. Property Listings
Property owners are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their listings. All listed properties must be legally available for rent. Fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate listings are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and account suspension.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not: post false or misleading information; collect user data without consent; use the platform for illegal purposes; harass other users; attempt to bypass security measures; create multiple accounts; use automated tools to scrape or access the platform; or circumvent our commission-free model by directing users off-platform to avoid legitimate fees.
6. Transactions & Payments
Rent payments, deposits, and other financial transactions are conducted directly between tenants and property owners. PropertyDheko is not a party to these transactions and assumes no liability for payment disputes, non-payment, or property damage. We recommend getting written agreements.
7. Subscription Services
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. No refunds for partial months after the refund window.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on PropertyDheko — including the name, logo, UI design, and code — is owned by PropertyDheko Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By uploading photos or content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
PropertyDheko is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, that the platform will be uninterrupted, or that any specific property will meet your needs. Physical property verification is your responsibility before signing agreements.
10. Limitation of Liability
PropertyDheko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including property disputes, financial losses, or data breaches beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the last 3 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India. You agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
